CALENDAR OF EVENTS FEBRUARY 14-20, 2008

Notes of Interest:

-The Cottage Inn reopens for the season serving dinner Thursday-Sunday beginning Thursday February 28.

-THE Auditorium will make rack card space available in its office for businesses interested in displaying their information. Call 253-7788.

-The 4th Annual Carving in the Ozarks chainsaw carving festival is accepting applications from charities and organizations for funding. Applications can be picked up at Sleepy's Log Furniture. Call 244-5010 for additional information.

-Caribe Restaurant is open under new management. Lunch and dinner, carry out available. 253-8102.

-Ermilio's will be serving Thursday, Friday and Saturday before closing for winter break. They will reopen on Friday March 21. 253-8806.

-St. Patrick's Day Parade entry forms are available online at www.parade.ureeka.org This year's parade will roll on Saturday March 15th at 2:00 pm. Call 981-9551 for additional information.

-Please remind visitors and guests that Turpentine Creek Wildlife Refuge winter hours are 9am – 5pm Daily Habitat Tours hourly from 11 until 3. 4:00 feeding time is also available for the public. 253-5841.

-EVERY SUNDAY 5:00 pm: Open Door community dinner in the undercroft at Saint James Church on Prospect St. No preachin' just a good, hot meal. All are welcome. Free or donation.
