Greg Klyma Performs in Basin Spring Park Wednesday!!!

Hey Hey, Everybody- Greg Klyma is in town!

He's playing in Basin Spring Park tomorrow (Wednesday) at noon. Mountain Sprout will follow at one o'clock.

We get excited about Greg.

We love him.

Check out his myspace page by clicking the poster above.

It'll be fun. See you there!

Monday, May 14, 2007

We had the best time this weekend... Were you there?

We had live music in Basin Spring Park Saturday and Sunday for the "Art in the Park" event as part of the May Festival of the Arts.

We got to hear a lot of Eureka talent, some for the first time: Don O'Barr, Mountain Sprout, Maureen Alexander, Catherine Reed, Brent Pierce, and M.A.B (the Maia Archote Band).

Artists, jewlers, shrine builders, flute makers, had tents set up to sell their work in the park, while Sunday Market rocked down the stairs across the street, and the Art Colony on North Main had music and festivities as well.

The weather was beautiful and people were all having a great time. The MC was witty and informative.

Not there? Don't worry, we'll be down there with live, local musical talent every weekend for the rest of the year. Because we love our community of musicians and performers.

Blues Clues

Blues Fest is around the corner- are your dancing shoes shined? Have you been doing your endurance training circuit at the gym? Have you balanced your beer budget?

Ya'll better get prepared for a 3 day line-up of booty-shakin' blues music that will rock your socks off, so be sure and bring an extra pair.

Have you scheduled your itinerary? You better get over to www.eurekaspringsbluesfestival.com and make your plan so's you can get your tickets, because they're selling fast… Don't pass up someone you've never heard- click their link and hear 'em, because not only do we have a lot of hot up-and-comers, but we've also got some performers so good that no one books them because they don't want to sort out the green M&Ms from the candy bowl in their dressing room. But we have no shame- we know good music when we hear it, and we've trained gerbils to sort candy.
