Calendar of Events: MAY 10-MAY 7, 2007

Notes of interest:

-2008 Marketing Support Funds (seed) applications are available at the CAPC office. Any request for funding of special events must be turned in by October 1, 2007.

-Every Monday at 5:30 pm, Bellyogachi classes at Firm Om Earth Studios. 363-9402.

-Every Thursday beginning at 4:00, Ureeka Dancers invites locals and visitors to "Dance Alive," at Eureka Live. Dancing for fun and exercise, learn new steps! Casual setting. Call Dan at 479-239-4466 for more info or just show up! Bring your friends and make new ones.

-Every Thursday: 7:00 am-noon: The Eureka Springs Farmers Market at Pine Mountain Village.

-Monday and Thursday beginning at 6:00 pm, Yoga with Jack in The Space, across the street from the post office. Also Monday at 3:00 pm at Holiday Island. Please call 870-480-9148 for additional information.

-Sunday May 13th: "Tribute to Moms" at the Unitarian Church on Elk Street. Moms' will be speaking. Bring a photo of your mom.

-Sunday May 13th: Women's Wisdom Circle meets at 7:00 pm. Call 253-6212.

-Tuesday May 15th: Eureka Springs Middle and High School bands will perform at THE Auditorium. This fundraiser begins at 6:00 pm.

THURSDAY:

-7:00 am: Eureka Springs Farmer's Market at Pine Mountain Village.

-Month long art exhibits include (but not limited to); Works by Bill Westerman at Eureka Thyme, "Faces" at Main Stage, "The Performers" at THE Auditorium, Jody Stephenson and Mr. Shrine at Community Bank, works by David Walker at EureKan Art.

-Noon: Crosstown Richard performs on the balcony of the Basin Park Hotel.

-3:00 pm: Happy Hour with Mary at the Lumberyard Bar and Grill. Karaoke begins at 9:00.

-6:00 pm: The Hogscalders perform at the Pied Piper Pub.

-East Indian Soup Buffet at the New Delhi Café.

-6:00 pm: Crosstown Richard back on the balcony of the Basin Park Hotel.

-Ladies night at Shawbee's.

FRIDAY:

-8:30 am: Eureka Springs Rotary Club Spring Golf Classic at Holiday Island. Call 253-0341 for additional information.

-Noon: War Eagle Mill products fish fry at the Balcony Restaurant in the Basin Park Hotel. Entertainment by the Hogscalders.

-Art in the Park at Basin Spring Park.

-5:00 pm: Native America inspired pottery exhibit by Eureka Springs and Berryville High School students at the Carnegie Library.

-6:00 pm: Michael Breid performs in the Grand Taverne at the Grand Central Hotel.

-6:00 pm: More War Eagle Mill products fish fry at the Balcony Restaurant in the Basin Park Hotel. Entertainment by the Hogscalders.

-7:00: "The Incredible India Exhibit" and Saree Party at the New Delhi Café. Entertainment provided by Tiffany Christopher.

-7:30 pm: Jerry Runner-Smith performs at the Rowdy Beaver.

-8:00 pm: Crosstown Richard performs in Dr. Baker's Lounge at the Crescent Hotel.

-Noon: Crosstown Richard performs on the balcony at the Basin Park Hotel.

-1:00 pm: Music at the Art Colony on North Main. Acra Turner, Mary Caroline and Mary Fly.

-1:00 pm: Artists' reception featuring Carol Peacock at Serendipity at the Crescent.

-1:00 pm: Artists' reception featuring Dixie and Bill Westerman at Iris at Basin Park.

-2:00 pm: Artist's reception featuring Larry Mansker at Rogue's Manor.

-6:00 pm: Gallery Stroll.

-Ninth Annual Invitational at Zarks.

-Works by Cynthia Dollard at The Jewel Box.

-Works by Dixie and Bill Westerman at Iris at Basin Park.

-Works by Carol Peacock at Serendipity at the Crescent.
