CALENDAR OF EVENTS OCTOBER 2 – OCTOBER 8, 2008

-Every evening during October: Haunted Hayrides at Bear Mountain Stables. Call 253-6185 for reservations and other information.

-Every weekend during October: Drinks, dessert and coffee at Mud Street Café beginning at 6:00 pm.

-For the 18th year, we welcome the Corvette owners and fans to Eureka Springs. The schedule of events, as presented to us, are posted on the appropriate day below.

-Every Monday at 5:30 pm: Bellyogachi classes at Fire Om Earth Studios. 363-9402.
Also on Wednesday at 9:30 am. Fall classes are underway.

-Every Monday at 6:30 pm: Metaphysical Society of Arkansas meets at 68 W. Mountain St.

-Every Monday at 7:00 pm: 8-ball pool tournament in the billiards room atop the Basin Park Hotel.

-Monday and Thursday beginning at 6:00 pm, Yoga with Jack in The Space, across the street from the post office. There is also a gentle yoga class at the Berryville Community Center on Wednesday at 10:00 am. For additional info call 870-480-9148

-Every Tuesday and Thursday: 7:00 am-12:00 pm Eureka Springs Farmers Market at the former Eureka Screams Theatre on Hwy 23 South. Community Day October 2. Local, civic organizations are invited to set up a booth. This is a perfect opportunity to education the public about your cause. For more information, call Heather 244-5431.

-Every Wednesday 4-9:00 pm, All You Can Eat Catfish at the Rowdy Beaver.

-Every Wednesday at 8:00 pm: Poker tournament in the billiards room atop the Basin Park Hotel.

-Every Thursday (all day) Local's day at the Pizza Bar.

-Every Thursday is Local's Night at the Grand Taverne in the Grand Central Hotel and Rick's Firehouse Pub on Main Street across from the courthouse.

-10:00 am: Registration for Corvette Weekend begins at Davis Chevrolet in Berryville.
-Noon and 6:00 pm: Live music on the balcony at the Basin Park Hotel.
-3:00 pm: Happy hour begins at the Rowdy Beaver and the Lumberyard Bar and Grill.
-6:00 pm: Open jam at the New Delhi Café.
-6:00 pm: Registration for Corvette Weekend at BW Inn of the Ozarks Convention Center.
-6:00 pm: Multi-user karaoke at Ollie's.
-7:00 pm: Corvette tech and information seminars begin at the convention center.
-7:00 pm: Open mic jam session at Eureka Live.
-7:00 pm: Acoustic music jam at Eureka Music Park on highway 23 south.

FRIDAY:

-10:00 am: Culinary class with Karen Gros. Reservations required. 253-7461.
-10:00 am: Corvette registration begins at Land -O-Nod Inn.
-Noon and 6:00 pm: The Hogscalders perform on the balcony at the Basin Park Hotel.

-7:30 am: Preparation begins for the Corvette Owner's Choice Car Show at Pine Mountain Village.
-9:00 am: Corvette Car Show opens to the public at Pine Mountain Village.

-7:30 am: Corvette departing gathering at Pine Mountain Village.
-9:00 am: Corvettes begin leaving Eureka Springs from Pine Mountain Village.
-11:00 am: Brunch available at Local Flavor 253-9522, Myrtie Mae's 253-9768, Café Soleil 253-2345, Crystal Dining Room 253-9766, Forest Hill 253-2422, Mud Street Café 253-6732, The Gazebo 253-9551, the Rowdy Beaver 253-8544.
-11:00 am: Live entertainment in the Crystal Dining Room at the Crescent Hotel.
-Noon and 5:00 pm: Live music on the balcony at the Basin Park Hotel.
-Noon: Biker Appreciation Day begins at Shawbee's Big Dawg Saloon.
