CALENDAR OF EVENTS AUGUST 23-29, 2007

NOTES OF INTEREST:

-Carroll County is under a burn ban until further notice.

-If you did not receive (via email) the August CAPC Newsletter and would like to, please let me know. The Newsletter will go out during the first week of each month. It contains financials, news, information and events from the CAPC office. Karen@eurekasprings.org

-Applications for 2008 Marketing Support Funds (SEED) are available at the CAPC office. All applications are due October 1, 2007.

-August 29: Eureka Springs Historical Museum Annual Meeting. 6:00 pm at the Museum.

-September 3: On Labor Day, 1977, Mary Ellen Sheard opened "Crystal Gardens Antiques" at 190 Spring Street. She is planning a party for others to celebrate with her. Please stop by to say, "Hello" and enjoy refreshments -- 10:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.

-Main Stage Creative Community Center will off after-school art programs for children 7 to 18 years old. Please call 253-8060 or 981-1510 to register.

-Public tours will be offered at Castle Rogue's Manor. For reservations and additional info, visit www.castleroguesmanor.com or call 253-4060.

-The Cottage Inn Restaurant will be closed the weekend of August 23-26.

-EVERY MONDAY: (Beginning July 9) Josie Yerby will be facilitating a beginner's meditation class. Breathing and crystal meditations will be explored. 5:30 – 6:30 pm at the Little Red Caboose on Van Buren St. 253-0222.

-EVERY TUESDAY: (Beginning July 10) Kit Shepperd will be teaching "Clear Work", an emotional, physical and spiritual clearing technique that assists in opening the pathways to greater health and well-being. 2:00 – 4:00 pm at the Little Red Caboose on Van Buren St. 253-0222.

-Every Monday at 6:30 pm: Metaphysical Society of Arkansas meets at 68 W. Mountain St.
