CALENDAR OF EVENTS MARCH 20-26, 2008

-Name that Garment! Mark Hughes, owner/designer of Regalia Handmade Clothing

needs help naming his new Spring/Summer line. (8 new garments, 8 new names.) "Contestants" are displayed in the shop window at 128 Spring St. Ballots are available at the shop and winners will be notified by phone on April 11. Each winner wins the garment they named. -GREAT AMERICA CLEAN-UP: Eureka Springs’ participation in the Great America Clean-up will be Tuesday March 25 from 5:00pm until dark. Volunteers will meet at the Inn Convenience Store on North Main Street. For additional information, call 253-0200.



-America in Bloom: Local gardens contest entry applications are available at the Chamber of Commerce in Pine Mountain Village. Judging will take place May 14-16. Please call 253-2227 (Georgette Garner) or 253-9703 (Glenna Booth) for additional information.



-THE Auditorium still has limited rack card space available in its office for businesses interested in displaying their information. Call 253-7788. Also, Friends of THE Aud fundraiser hoodies and long sleeve shirts are now available.

-An improv comedy troupe is forming in Eureka Springs. Experience is not required, but a willingness to learn is essential. The yet to be named group meets at Main Stage on Tuesday nights from 6-8 p.m. If you have questions, call Ken Rundel at 479-253-7333.
