CALENDAR OF EVENTS JULY 3 - 10, 2008

Nearly 60 antique cars began motoring through Northwest Arkansas cities this week to open the five-day Rogers Vintage Rally. Drivers and navigators of the 58 cars in The Hemmings Challenge 2008 series associated with the Vintage Car Rally Association will stream into downtown Eureka Springs on Friday, (TOMORROW) around noon. The group will be treated to a picnic lunch at Basin Park and cars will be on display along Spring Street. The drivers will vote on the best of the five "host" cities, which will receive $5,000. The organization also hopes to raise $25,000 for the Autism Society of America. All Eureka Springs residents are encouraged to turn out to greet the rally participants and view the vintage autos on display. The cars will be arriving via Highway 23 North.

-There will be an Arkansas Voter Registration Drive July 5th in Basin Park during the Parade. Free bottled water will be supplied.

-Drop-in classes are offered at Main Stage Creative Community Center thru August 15. Several class times, as well as lunch options are available. Call 253-8060 for information.

-Every Monday at 6:30 pm: Metaphysical Society of Arkansas meets at 68 W. Mountain St.

-Monday and Thursday beginning at 6:00 pm, Yoga with Jack in The Space, across the street from the post office. There is also a gentle yoga class at the Berryville Community Center on Wednesday at 10:00 am. For additional info call 870-480-9148

-Every Thursday is Local's Night at the Grand Taverne in the Grand Central Hotel and Rick's Firehouse Pub on Main Street across from the courthouse.



-Every Thursday: ESKATE on Passion Play Road will offer 18 years old and up skating from 7-10PM. Roller disco to music from the 70's, 80's and 90's. Contests and prizes for just the big kids. 253-7762.
