And then it was Autumn

It seemed as the week end couldn't wait to begin, as Friday evenings Dance in the Park after Dark started with a WOW and just kept on until it had become one of those magical Eureka nights our locals speak about and visitors come to experience. The opening WOW came from Rev. Payton's Big Damn Band, it was the first time many had heard them play and play they did with an energy that seemed to jump down from the band shell to literally pick up an entire park full of friends and neighbors up out of their seats and on to their feet.

Trout Fishing in America's Keith Grimwood, choose to spend his birthday entertaining Eureka Springs and so into the night they played.

Saturday in Basin Spring Park we saw performances by Jeff Lee, Pope County Bootleggers, The Hogscalders, the Awesome Possums and Cajon Sol. Followed by Sunday's shows with Brent Pierce & Fred Mayer, Susan Shore, Effron White, Paul Boatright and Kosmik Debriz. And then it was Autumn and here's wishing a wonderful season to all.
