Ike is coming!

Well, it looks like we have our second Hurricane headed toward North West Arkansas. Ike's a big one too. We have all the people on the Texas coast in our minds. We feel for you! We hope that you are safe and that you have a home to return to when the water recedes.

We are not happy that gas has gone to over $6.00 a gallon in some places in Texas. It is sad that people try and profit from disaster. We all have friends who are being affected by the storm, and now on top of that, after loosing work because of it they have to pay stupid gas prices.

Everyone will be impacted by Ike, all over the country. In Eureka Springs we are predicted to get another 2 to 7 inches of rain in the next couple of days. We are already in excess of our yearly rainfall average by over 12 inches. What are we to do? We suffer through it and try to manage as best we can.

Where ever you happen to be, it is our hope that you are dry and have a full tank of gas and that if you were displaced from your home that you will be able to return soon.
