What A Wonderful Three Day Week End We Had In Eureka Springs

We had many fine musicians in Basin Spring Park last weekend.

Saturday we had Chuck Onofio playing a mean violin, Jimmy Wells played a few tunes on his guitar. Jones Van Jones did a few old standards, The Pope County Bootleggers were fun, Derral Gleason from Austin Texas played us a few and the day was closed out with out very own Mountain Sprout.

Sunday was just as much fun with The Matt and Gus Trio playing some really fine Jazz, Cross Eyed Child played some nice 60's and 70's Rock tunes, Jeff Lee gave us his unique style, and a new band from Fayetteville, Hectic Hysteria, played us some really nice original music.

Monday was our Second Annual Spring Street Sweethearts. We heard from the following beautiful sweethearts: Korey Mattox, Catherine Reed, Pearl Brick, Lany balance, Emily Kaitz, Susan Shore and Opal Fly. The Spring Street Sweethearts started last year in celebration of women's right to vote. This year it has even more meaning with the upcoming Presidential Election. It was a beautiful day to celebrate both Labor Day and Women Voting.
